The new Inoa section is formed by a technical nucleus composed by four research fellows who work to develop
and to realize the scanner to make iperspectral images of painted images for the SIDART project.
The first project object is the integration between the diagnostics techniques for the cultural heritage.
This project is in initial fase in national and international level.
One must not be surprised of this, because the diagnostic technologies are not used yet in routine applications
in
the restoration and the conservation, if not in few exemplary cases.
Is difficult to dispose for an only work of diagnostic data which come from various techniques.
In the last few years, complete diagnostic countrysides with tools to the vanguard have been led
only for few works of huge importance and international resonance, what to example the Michelangelo David.
When the prototype will be ready (in the course of 2004) one will proceed to the research
on the integration of the Imaging Iperspettrale
technique with other diagnostic methodologies developed by the partners of the project
