The laser line scanning system based on the principle of optical triangulation, combines an elevated resolution with good versatility, which makes it particularly suitable for the survey of medium-size objects (statues, sculptural relieves, architectural details) and for acquisition in bad lighting and other unfavourable conditions.

At a typical working distance of about 50 cm the scanned area is about 30x30 cm2 .

The resulting resolution in depth is about 50 µm and final accuracy of the result is better than 0.3 mm.
