The Minerva statue is about 155 cm tall, and its body is entirely includible within a cylinder of 50 cm diameter, a part form the arm, which is leaning out for about 40 cm.

For a complete statue characterization, 119 acquisitions have been performed, for a total 1.4GB of data.

The first acquisitions have been made letting the statue spinning with in incremental angle of 45°, and then at various vertical positions of the optical head.

The remaining acquisitions have been made moving the optical head so to see also the parts which resulted hidden in the first phase, like the right arm, the neck, and so on.

The data processing consisted in the following phases:

- Alignment of the range maps;
- Range map data fusion;
- Simplification of the gathered data in order to export the 3D model in different formats.
